Phone call with a recruiter from Etsy. Despite the fact that they're based in New York, they have some groups that have lots of remote workers. Some groups that don't have any. He was sold by my résumé's reference to starting in on computers at age 6. He's going to talk to some groups and see which might be a good fit. Should hear back early next week.
Phone call with an LA-based recruiter at Apex with a high meta-trust score (trusted by someone I trust), to talk about a gig at Play Network, which could be interesting. Also said I have an impressive resume. Needless to say, I'm feeling a bit better about myself at this point.
Quick chat with Scottru about a gig with a company that produces software used by credit unions. He's going to get back to me on that.
I was expecting to hear from LiquidPlanner by "end of week", but I suppose it's possible they emailed the recruiter after the recruiter went home for the day. We'll see what Monday brings.
AmazonLocal in-person interview is set up to take most of next Thursday, with a chat with one of their recruiters on Tuesday.
Real sorta-in-person (one third will be via Skype) interview is set up on Wednesday.
I should probably spend some time this weekend expanding on the details in my resume. Particularly the past few jobs, it's kinda hand-wavy.
edit: Just heard from LiquidPlanner. They feel I did well, but they're passing. Which sound like money, since this was already bottoming out my bid.
