My new Nest thermostat arrived in the afternoon. I installed it. It's been a long time since I was this impressed with product design for /anything/. The package has everything you could reasonably need, the instructions are clear, and the whole thing makes the install /trivially/ easy. Here, label the wires before you disconnect the old unit. Here, push a button and insert the wire. Done. Easy. It's so nice to use that I wish I had reason to interact with it more.
I needed to get out of the house, so we went out to dinner. Ended up going to Khan's Mongolian Grill in Burien. While I was always annoyed at Ruzhen for being one-trip-per-payment, this place is one /bowl/ per payment. They offset that a bit by not letting you add your own meat. You just pick veggies and noodles, tell them what mean you want, and they cook it. But, adding in the fact that my food was unevenly cooked (undercooked carrots in the same bite as burnt garlic being the worst part), and I have to say, skip it. I'll drive the extra distance to Chang's down in Renton.
Came home and, despite going /out of the house/, I am not totally exhausted. Just mostly.
Oh, and the hives are coming back, with a vengeance. I've just ordered a refill of the doxepin. The cyclosporin will be here soon, but I'm not going to start on that until I'm completely over this flu-like-thing.
