Been fighting with Vega, the new NAT box most of the day. I'm on the last problem.

Routes are all done, it works great. But the dhcp cable modem connection won't come up on its own.

ifup eth2 will hang while dhclient tries and fails to get an address. dhclient3 eth2 on its own has the same result. pump -i eth2 works tho. If I start ifup eth2 in one window, and run ifconfig eth2 up in another, then the dhclient WILL succeed.

It seems to boil down to the interface not being 'ready', and ifup/dhclient not readying it themselves, while pump and ifconfig can..
