Let's say you're a recruiter.

You email me, unsolicited, about a job. Four jobs, in fact, variations on the same theme of "Rails developer", all with the same company. You ask me to let you know which I'd be interested in, and send my current resume.

I reply saying they all look good, two are most interesting. And here's the url to my resume.

Then you call me at 8am the next day.

Ignoring the fact that I now wish you actual bodily harm, is it unreasonable of me, at this point, to expect you to have /read/ my resume? If my resume, the html version of which I sent you the link to, has a link on it to the RTF format version, is it unreasonable of me to expect you to be able to find the "word version" of my resume without having to ask me to send it to you? Maybe it's merely unreasonable of me to expect you to know what 'RTF' means?

I really coulda used another 30-60 minutes of sleep. I don't know when I got to bed last night, but it was after midnight. *sigh*
