I add a couple books to my amazon wishlist and an idea occurs to me: A book budget. But more than that, a mandatory book budget. I set aside a certain amount of money per month (say, $50 or $100 or something reasonable), which MUST be spent on books. Can be at amazon, or powells, or whereever; can be deadtree, kindle, pdfs, whatever.
At a guess, I've probably got enough stuff on my amazon lists that's still available to keep me buying things for a great many years.
Need to wait a few months to see how my finances are settling before implementing of course, but somebody remind me, k?
