device memory is funny. I bought a keychain gps from thinkgeek. I connected it to my phone, pulled up google maps, and told it to connect to the gps. the gps is indoors and can't see any satellites, but it remembers where it /last/ saw them, presumably during testing at the factory. and that's the position it reports to gmaps. It thinks its on the northwest coast of Taiwan. Which makes sense, since it's made in taiwan. I just found it amusing

edit: Hmm.. 'cept I just realized that this isn't what I ordered, exactly. The one I ordered says it has SiRFstar III, this says MTK. And it looks different. I'll have to ping them.
