The basement has not flooded. The floor drain has drained, fortunately, but the sump has not. Water is running along the eastern wall from the overflowing sump to the floor drain, further ruining the bathroom drywall and whatever else it might come across in the process, but the drain seems to be keeping up with the trickle.
I'm now going to go to the west seattle home depot (sodo was a flop), and will /actually ask someone/ where the pumps are. If I can't find something acceptable there, I'll go down to the lowes in southcenter.
Needless to say, this is not how I wanted to spend my afternoon.
Also, loree gets to handle the next household disaster alone.
