The uvillage apple store did not have any iMic's. Fry's did.

Have you noticed that Fry's doesn't seem to have any western digital hard drives anymore? None, that I could find. Interesting.

Apple store had old-style 1TB MyBook Pro II for $400, and newer-style single-drive 'Studio' version (like Home, but with FW800) for $380. CostCo has the 1TB single-drive Home version (USB2, FW400, eSata) for $300. I think I'll stop by tomorrow and buy one. And some salt.

At least the iMic works. I'm getting a lot of noise, but it's hard to tell if that's the headphones, the 3m cord on the headphones, the iMic, the USB hubs, the room, the general EM noise of Nerdvana, or what. Will play with it more.

And there was nobody playing TF2, so I couldn't test it out and see if I was understandable.
