On power outages and server hosting...

While I wait for my breakfast, I thought I'd think out loud for a bit...

I have only one offsite server, and it's used for dns and backup storage.
I have the option of setting up a server at the westin, and I'm thinking this would be a good time to set up a secondary mail server. Something that would collect incoming mail for all my hosted domains when the primaries aren't available, then forward them on when possible.
Preferably, I'd like to make it possible to get to the mail held for specific accounts, either thru ssh or web access.

I'd rather not use the compaqs for this, as I don't want to take up that much of their rack space. Unfortunatly, the only 1U servers I have are those ones with the stupid kvm connection. I wonder how well the BigIP would work... I'll need to get it working again.

edit: Wow, using the thumbkb on the 770 to post text of significant length is clearly a bad idea. Need to get myself a bluetooth keyboard.
