Book of Marty

31 July 16

Nicki had not moved all night. Couldn't stand or walk on her own. Wouldn't eat.
Told Loree. Decided tomorrow was the time.

Had arranged to look at houses today. Left her with better food than I had for breakfast, went to do that. Found the most perfect house we could imagine. Expect to be very disappointed when we can't buy it.

Came home. Nicki had probably eaten her food. But was otherwise not improved. She's been getting lots of attention and cheese this evening. Distressingly uninterested in the cheese.

Tomorrow's plans, including long-overdue medical appointment to look at my wrist and critical work project status meeting, now tentative pending scheduling of in-house ... arrangements.

Also tomorrow is inconveniently schedule meeting with cold-contact house buying agency. If they offer the right number, we could buy Perfect House and move within incredibly short order. They will not, and there will be further disappointment.

In conclusion, tomorrow will be a land of a lack of contrasts. Everything will be entirely shit.
