1) I've imported everything (except my massive icon collection) over to dreamwidth. I may delete everything here eventually.

2) I think I'm going to stop posting daily until I can start doing so to a blog I fully control. Which really just means I need to go upgrade my Ghost install and point y'all to it. You /do/ have RSS readers, right? Good.

3) Meanwhile, if you want to keep up with my goings on, your best bet is to follow me on twitter. When in doubt, use a client that keeps track of your last-read, like tweetbot, and make heavy use of lists.

4) I may also start using my newsletter more.

I'm trying to divorce Facebook, and I think I'd rather decorate my eyelids with cross-stitch than go back to Twitter. Is there a way to subscribe, or would you have to deliberately put it on your LJ or FB?

My tweets cross-post to FB, but individually, not in batches, so there's the usual problem of facebook-doesn't-show-you-everything.
There are (or have been) ways to have tweets cross-posted to LJ. Presumably there are other options for similar effects.

One option that looks like it would work.. use IFTTT, connect it to Twitter and Email Digest services, and set it up to send all tweets from a specific user to a daily email digest.

I'm sure this will get obnoxious, but now there's this: https://tithonium-digest.tumblr.com/

Damn. I understand, and sympathize, but, damn.

Beh. I guess I need to set up a dreamwidth account; everyone's leaving.

Suggestions for RSS reader?

Also, clearly I need to get someone to explain twitter to me. All the feeds always seem to be full of garbage.

I like Feedly for RSS.

Twitter is all in who you follow, and a fair number of folks I know only follow their friends and maybe an interesting writer or two, which keeps it manageable. The official interface also sucks, non-official apps don't (usually) show you suggested or promoted tweets, or mess with the order things should show in, which helps. I think it's an acquired taste, tho.
