Made some halloween decorations. Made mashed potatoes. Made some skytrain. Got Antares up on the new system drive. Put out a ridiculous amount of candy.

We decided not to host a new years party this year. First time we haven't since moving into the house. There are reasons many and various, but they all boil down to "too expensive". In time and effort and emotional energy even more than money, tho that's an issue as well. We don't really feel like we get as much out of them as we put into them anymore, and haven't for a while. We'll see how we feel when my birthday rolls around. Or next new years.

Nobody took any of our candy. I am going to die of glucose poisoning.

sometimes you just have to embrace that a thing is not giving you as much pleasure as it is costing you to do. I totally get that.

What is skytrain?

I'm sorry about NYE: I'd always intended to make it to one, but always had too much to do.

In one of my minecraft worlds, I'm using external server commands to automate the building of a network of trains up at the top of the world's build limit.

I'm sad about a) the lack of NYE party, and b) your impending death by simple sugars. Yes, of course I already have an invitation to another NYE party, but I'll miss the MOO kroo.
