I received an invoice yesterday, from Airgas. For $156, for rental of two 10L dewars.
Seeing as how I haven't done business with them for at least two years, and last year asked them to close my account, I'm not exactly thrilled about this. They're going to "research" and see if they can figure out why they think I have two of their dewars.

The phrases "do I need to have my lawyer contact you" and "fraudulent billing" and "state attorney general's office" may come in handy.

I'm more concerned that someone may have been using the company's name to get things from them without me knowing about it. Given how long it took to resolve the problem of the already-paid-bill last year, I'm unsurprised to find that the account has not been closed.

I approve. Dewar's is surprisingly drinkable for a low-end blend.

How is it that you rent Dewar's? Do you give it back when it comes out the other end?

It's supposed to come out the other end!? I've been doing it so wrong.
