So, we made Turducken last Sunday. In the time since,
loree and I have made /three/ kinds of soup from the leftovers.
On Tuesday we made a roux, chopped a bunch of veggies (celery, carrots, shallots), tore up the remaining turducken, tossed it into chicken broth, and boiled happily into an adequate soup.
Yesterday, I took my hand blender to the soup, and strained the result, and got an interesting .. goo.
Today, we boiled some egg noodles in more chicken broth, added them to the goo, boiled down the broth with some pepper and salt and onion and garlic, poured that in, and mixed it up.
